Original phrase again, "multiply the absorbance of the dilution times 20."
I think the whole sentence is wrong.
Is âabsorbanceâ a setting on a spectrometer? Is it the quantity of a substance (the absorbent)?
How is this done? Turn a knob? Pour in more stuff?
I would focus on the actions of the technician (the reader): âAdd 20 times the quantity of absorbentâ, or âTurn up the absorbency setting to a value 20 times the original setting.â
But Iâm looking from outside of the flask. (c;
