Oh hell no.
The last thing you want is for someone at the director level or higher to
actually DO anything with what you have. They know way less about what
you're doing than you do and eventually you'll end up having to change it
all back.
What you want when you go to see a director is sign off on the resources
you need to do whatever it was you wanted to do/get when you went to see
him/her.
