getting started with Swagger / OpenAPI for REST APIs

I finally persuaded my developers to use Swagger, or maybe they came
around to my way of thinking on their own. It's already set up so
after checking out from Git I can run npm install.

Any suggestions on good docs to help me get up to speed?

Any tools other than swagger-editor I should check out?
