Easy movie maker for Macs?

For Windows 8.1, I located and downloaded Microsoft's free Movie Maker.
Camtasia it's not, but it lets one slap together video and audio rather
easily, then export the result in any number of formats.

Does the Mac ship with a similar no-brainer app? Or is some no-brainer app
freely available?
