Read Shauna Kelley's article on how to set up numbered lists. The problem
with Word is that if you don't link the styles you set up for numbering
paragraphs to a List style, Word *will *change things to one of its pre-set
up numbering styles. If you want your paragraph numbering to work, you must
use a List style.
