TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
It's been a while since we did a push to add some writers to our Special
Writers Unit ... we have a few current needs and interests:
1. Writer with (ideally) content strategy consulting experience &
technical communications. These articles would include tips and tricks for
being more effective to some software reviews [this would be paid work]
2. Writer or writers interested in covering job search, career
development and helping us build out that part of TechWhirl and a different
site we help manage (our normal revenue sharing model) / ideal people would
be interested not only in creating content but helping build a strategy and
plan for this area.
3. Editor with some experience who wants more experience :) [maybe paid,
probably revenue sharing model]
Please send me a direct email with your resume / portfolio (#1) if you're
interested and / or please forward to anyone you think may be a good fit.
take care,
al
