Yes, good advice. I've not used FM in over ten years, so my advice about it is also probably moribund.

LibreOffice Writer touts a master document. I've never used it. I like LibreOffice Writer because it runs just find on Linux, but I've never used it for anything big, usually just when someone wants a document in "MS Word format." I'm now mostly a fan of Org Mode.
