Copyright was created to protect original work for its creator.
Starting with that - a little simple - wording for the exact legal texts 
I think: there's the law.
There's the company and their legal department - and there's your own 
conscience, of course, last but not at all least.

I have been raised and still strongly believe that any rule you 
encounter can be questioned as to its underlying principle - and the 
sense it makes.
In other words? Why have that kind of protection and laws?

There are people who do not respect other people's works. There always 
have been. And there are creators who need protection.
In countries where laws exist that protect these rights and actual legal 
bodies that actually abide by these laws, 'copy right' makes a lot of 
sense.

On a general note, I think be careful to avoid legal hassle, it can 
indeed be costly and seriously damage the company's reputation. Which in 
turn could lead to loss of revenue.

Apart from that: No copying. Period. That's my *personal* view.
