Unfortunately, Ken, many of us do not have this luxury. If I
want to echo part of a message in my new message, I must
accept the original heading....unless someone knows a
work-around.

You could always get a NeXT, or NeXTSTEP for intel... 8^)
Seriously, can you save the text into a file? And then paste the file into a
new message? Excuse my ignorance on this, but the only mail I've used is Sun
and NeXT (NeXT is a *lot* better).
