Subject:Re: Reviews and red pens: an informal poll From:Popowicz Alison <popowicz -at- SAPPEY -dot- GRENOBLE -dot- HP -dot- COM> Date:Tue, 21 Sep 1993 07:51:53 +0200
Hello everyone,
Regarding red pens, I've noticed that many writers take offence: I usually
use a green pen which stands out well but which doesn't remind one so much
of schooldays... that is, I TRY to remember to use green but sometimes the
red pen is closer and handier...
Alison
p.s. Personally, I don't mind if I receive comments written in red, blue,
green or orange, so long as they are easily seen -- and more important
than the colour of the pen is the comment itself. Is it informative?
Or does it just say "this is wrong!"
