Position--Assistant/Associate Professor of English (rank depending on
qualifications), tenure track. Teach established courses in expository,
persuasive, and technical writing; develop new courses in professional

QUALIFICATIONS--REQUIRED: doctorate (by Aug 1994) in English or related
fields; specialization in professional/technical writing/publishing; record or
promise of excellence in teaching and research. PREFFERED: professional
experience as writer/editor; knowledge of contemporary research in
business/profession/technical writing and publisheing; record of professioanl
writing and research.
