This Call for papers consists of 4 sections:
o description of the conference stems
o suggested topics
o proposal requirements
o address for submissions
The conference has 4 stems:
o Science and Technology
o Writing and Editing
o Visual Communication
o Education, Training and Development
A survey of Region 6 STC members indicated particular interest in
the following topics:
o time management techniques
o ISO 9000 documentation requirements
o independent contracting and consulting
o project and time management
o personal development (intermediate to advanced audiences)
o using the "Information Highway"
o developing visual material
o quality management (TQM)
o online documentation; electronic delivery of information
Mail your proposal by June 6, 1994. Your proposal should
include hard copy and (IBM-compatible) disk copy of the
following information:

o Brief Biography (one or two paragraphs about your background
and qualifications) and a photograph
o Program Description of Presentation
