TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Regarding the trip reports from the STC conference:
A resounding "thanks for sharing, bunkies!" to those
offering to supply their insights. A suggestion, though:
Chances are good that these reports might be a tad lengthy;
chances are also good that some folk don't want to wade
through them. Is there a way to deposit them somewhere so
them as wants 'em can snag 'em, and them as don't won't
have to delete 'em?
I've seen references on other newsgroups to something called
'anonymous ftp'. Does anyone know how that works? )I admit
to being a rookie to a lot of this net stuff ...)
