Senior Technical Writer, Northern Virginia
Network Imaging Systems, a leading software developer specializing in
information access technologies in a client/server environment, is seeking a
senior technical writer to design, write, and update technical and user
documentation, both paper and online, for a new generation of UNIX-based
products.
Candidates must have:
o 5+ years experience in documenting commercial software products
o Solid knowledge of UNIX (familiarity with X-Windows is a plus)
o Working knowledge of desktop publishing systems (FrameMaker preferred) and
MS Windows
The successful candidate will also be familiar with issues relating to
software usability and electronic delivery of documentation.
