Texas Instruments, one of the world's leading suppliers of high-
performance semiconductor components, has several openings for permanent
and contract technical writers.
The writer will assume responsibility for developing user documentation
for TI microcomputer and microcontroller devices, compilers, assemblers,
and C and assembly language debuggers. Responsibilities include writing,
editing, and maintaining user's guides for completeness, technical
accuracy, and compliance with TI standards. The writer will be expected
to coordinate all phases of document development and production.
Minimum requirements include three to five years experience and a B.A.
or B.S. in Technical Communication or English with an emphasis in
computer science or digital electronics. Familiarity with Interleaf and
UNIX is a plus.
