help compiler

Looking for help with the Microsoft help compiler:

I've got a Gateway (please, no more cracks ;-}) 486
with expanded memory enabled and I get a run-time
"unhandled exception" error when I run the help
compiler. I don't have any documentation here at
home: anybody been in a similar situation?
