Everyone who is hammering Arlen--
Take it easy. He was just trying to perform a public service. He even indicated
in his message that he (and Beth, the original poster) knew this was not the
"correct" forum for such a post. He and Beth (like the rest of the country)
were enmeshed in the ersatz kidnapping tragedy. Geez. Don't kill the messenger.
Don't think I advocate turning this list into a forum for every late-breaking
crisis. I don't. But this situation seemed especially urgent.
Put your personal vendettas aside and give the guy a break. Forgive me if this
sounds trite, but imagine if it were your kid.
Go ahead, flame me, too.
