Hi,
I'm doing research to determine such things as what makes a listserv
successful, whether this listserv meets the needs of its subscribers,
why people subscribe and more. I would really appreciate it if you
would take a few minutes to respond to the survey I've included in
this note. Send your responses to meie0046 -at- gold -dot- tc -dot- umn -dot- edu -dot-
I will compile and post the results of this survey to the list when my
research is complete. Your individual response will be completely
confidential.
Have you posted on this listserv? Yes
If so, was the response you received beneficial? I have not yet been
successful in actually getting my response out of Australia - I tried twice
and would like some idea of why it did not work. If I reply or use reply to
ask a question the response is great.
Have you responded to a post? Yes
If so, did you post your response to the listserv, contact the person
directly, or both? Sent it via the list
If you contacted the person directly, why did you
choose to do this rather than post to the listserv?
Do you use e-mail regularly? every day, it runs in the background.
Do you subscribe to any other listservs? Yes InfoSys which is an information
systems group and a women's listserv.
Do you use any newsgroups?
What is your background? Senior lecturer dept business computing, Victoria
University fo Technology Melbourne
What educational degrees do you hold? Masters info systems

Manchester who told me about it.
Why did you subscribe? Am doing research in the area.
Does this listserv meet your needs? Yep

getting info out of the country.
Describe the ideal listserv for you in this field.
