In at least two major magazines, IBM has an ad for OS/2 Warp --
an expensive ad, four colors across a two-page spread -- that
speaks of how the product might improve life for some fictitious
artist in "Sante Fe" [sic]. In all caps and a contrasting color.
One might offer the ad agency a simple mnemonic. "Santa will
leave nothing but a lump of coal in your stocking if you go to
press without running your spellchecker. Then next year we'll
have an auto-da-fe for people who go to press without running
their spellcheckers." Then maybe they'll be ready to spell
Albe... Alba... that town at the corner of I-25 and I-40.
