Since Esperanto is a mish-mash of European languages,
who is a native speaker of Esperanto?
Native means: (Webster's again) 1. Inborn, natural. 2. born in a particular
place or country. 3. belonging to a person because of the place of his birth
(his ~ language).
I know there are many Esperanto clubs, but not one country has adopted it as an
official language, and no major political organization uses it as an official
language. That's what I meant about not catching on...
I'm still glad our international docs aren't done in Esperanto, and
we don't have to use sie or hir.
