Ansoft Corporation has an opening for a full-time technical writer
in Pittsburgh, PA.
Requirements:
3+ years experience; Bachelor's/Master's in technical writing with a
strong background in engineering or science (preferably electrical
engineering). Will also consider recent grads and individuals with an
engineering or science degree and appropriate writing experience.
Work experience with online help and knowledge of UNIX, MS-Windows and
Framemaker (or other DTP programs) highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
Research, edit, write and produce user documentation for Ansoft's
electromagnetic field and circuit simulation software. This includes
tutorial "getting started" guides, quick references, applications
guides and online help. You will work closely with programmers,
researchers and application engineers, and be involved in the software
development and QA process.
