Subject:Re: Tech Writers per Developer From:"Ruth E. Kiner" <KINERCRE -at- AOL -dot- COM> Date:Fri, 13 Jan 1995 22:27:40 -0500
Greetings,
Where I work, it's not effecient to standardize a ratio of tech.writers to
developers. We base the number of tech. writers assigned to a developer
primarily on these variables, namely: size of the writing projecting; date
the app. goes into production; whether or not we are required to test the
app.; depth of usabilty evaluation/audience analysis necessary, and so forth.
Based on the aforementioned, determining a standard ratio of tech. writers to
developers would be virtually impossible and potentially short-sighted.
