I've been having the worst time, trying to convert files from Word 6 to
Frame 4.02. The latest filter doesn't want to translate tables at all, so
in documents with tables I'm reduced to saving the Word doc as an RTF file
and hauling it into Frame that way. This, however, splinters the tables.
If I try to copy the contents of the tables into a table newly created in
Frame the contents sit to one side of the new table because the formatting
gets picked up along with the contents of the cells. (Is there any way to
change that)
If I collect all the pieces of the table and tack them together and then
apply my table format to them I get a nice looking table, but -- gack! --
there are no heading rows at the tops of pages where the table has run over
to the next page.
If I add heading rows, they don't have the proper formatting (a thin
double line under the row), and I can't figure out how to apply it after the
fact. Oy.
Any ideas, oh FrameMasters?
Thanks in advance!
