If someone ever invites me to a costume party, I'd like to go as a
famous, fictional technical communicator.
<snip>
I can think of a few journalists and ficiton writers in literature (the main
character in Misery, for example), but I can't think of any technical
communicator characters.
How about Leonardo DaVinci? He definitely was a technical illustrator.
Leonardo was an inventor on the side.
STC's Technical Communication ran a series on historical technical
communicators about 10+ years ago. Maybe some co-STCers may have more
details.
