Tour of Cadmus Journal Services

Cadmus Journal Services (formerly Waverly Press) is opening its doors to two of
its publication units for a tour. The tour will be at their new Linthicum site,
where Metro Baltimore STC member Trisha Gage and manager Mary Alice Ditzler will
host a visit to their Editorial Production Services and Media Conversion units.
The editors at Cadmus will tell us how they use electronic sources to get
through lots of text and show examples of electronic editing. There will also
be information on how techical journals are indexed. (Cadmus currently does the
printing of the STC Journal and may do the editing in the future.)
Cost: $7 ($4 for program only) for members and guests.
Directions: Take Rt. 295 to W. Nursery Road exit. Turn right on W. Nursery
Road. Turn right at Winterson Road (traffic light). Cadmus is at the corner of
Winterson and Elkridge Landing Road - 940 Elkridge Landing Road, Airport Square
7, Linthicum. Enter the door that faces the MCI Building.
