Subject:Doc2Help as single source for help & doc From:"Lindamood, Brad" <blindamood -at- DCA -dot- COM> Date:Thu, 9 Feb 1995 09:15:30 EST
[ Please note that I've cross-posted this message to both the WinHelp and
Tech Writing mail lists, as it may benefit both. I apologize in advance for
any duplication. [:> ]
Have you used Doc-To-Help extensively for creating both paper
documentation and Windows Help from a single source file? If so, we'd
like to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Has it worked
well for you? Do you think it saves time and effort in the long run, or
is it difficult to work with the resulting files (lots of hidden text,
etc.)?
Also, we'd like to hear some specifics about how Doc-To-Help actually
handles this (e.g., how separate styles are maintained for paper vs.
online).
In addition, are there any online Help features provided by Doc-To-Help
that you've found particularly useful, that add to the value of this
product?
Any information you can provide is greatly appreciated. You can post to
the list or E-mail me directly at the address below. Thanks.
