Carla Christiano asked for tools and platforms to publish documents on-line.

Besides HTML (mosaic) you may also consider the Windows-Help/multimedia
Viewer format. You can easily convert documents from all kinds of
WordProcessors to the intermediate WinHelp-RTF format and from there to
multiple platforms, HTML included. Some poducts are:
Doc2Help to convert Word2.0 and 6.0
- info: tel. (212) 949-9595
Help Perfect to convert WordPerfect-doc's to WinHelp
- info: 71141 -dot- 3624 -at- compuserve -dot- com
HyperHelp to play WinHelp in Unix
- info: info -at- bristol -dot- com
HLPDK/PA to convert WinHlp-projects to HTML
-info: rloewy -at- panix -dot- com
There's also a WinHelp-list: WINHLP-L // LISTSERV -at- ADMIN -dot- HUMBERC -dot- ON -dot- CA
When (most of) your sources are in WordPerfect 5.x you should check
out Help Perfect. It may save you weeks and lots of painful expriences.
