Kelly, Karen herself, and a few others have politely informed me
that I've misread Karen's remark to Jan's statement. Such are
the hazards of cyberspace communication. All is well in River
City.
Jan Boomsliter said--
You weed out of your resume the joke book
you published, while your cv tells your marital status.
Karen Kay wrote--
I would never put that *anywhere* in *anything* remotely
professional.
Beverly Parks responded--
but if I had only one published book and it happened to be a joke
book, I'd be damned proud of it!
And Kelly Burhenne clarified--
I believe when Karen said she wouldn't put that in anything
professional, she was referring to her marital status, not the joke
book. I'm sure we would all be very proud of having published
_anything_! ;)
