Just wanted to say thank you to John for assuming this was intended
for the techwr-l list and posting this along with his rambling and
irrelevant comments. Apparently John is the self-appointed psychoanalyst
for the list. For obvious reasons, I did not post this to the list. Feel
free to send flames and comments to me.
I would like to point out that he probably meant "skin deep" conservatism
in his comments.
Remember John, that Garrison Keillor is a lifelong National Public Radio
figure. He's afraid that if the GOP cuts funding for NPR and the Corp. for
Public Broadcasting, he won't be able to earn a living off of the
taxpayers any longer. With the sale of Barney toys and Sesame Street
toys bringing in lots of cash, I doubt that PBS will take these programs
off the air.
