MEMO Re:FORMAT:Blank Pages
Beverly Parks writes >>Does anyone still (or has anyone ever) use intentional
blank pages in a document? You know, the kind that say "This page
intentionally left blank." .. snip.>>
I assume you're talking double-sided copies here.
Being profoundly right-handed, I get uncomfortable if the new chapter begins as
a leftie. A practical consideration is that someone might want to remove the
next chapter in its entirety. 's a problem if the last page of the previous
chapter is on the other side of that page.
I leave the page blank and give it the header and pagination (say, 38 of 38) of
the chapter it's blank to (?! hard to phrase). But I don't say "this page
intentionally left blank'. Dunno why. Personal preference, I guess.
