Subject:Jobs via Help Wanted ads From:Michael LaTorra <mikel -at- ACCUGRAPH -dot- COM> Date:Wed, 15 Mar 1995 12:35:34 MST
I have to second Rick Lippincott on this. I got my current job from
a Help Wanted ad. Also, another job I had applied for at about the
same time -- a job that was also listed in Help Wanted -- came through
with an offer after I had already accepted my present employment.
This is not to say that there is no value in networking for locating
that "hidden job market". However, in my experience, there just aren't
that many "hidden" jobs out there.
Live long & prosper,
