For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
For what it's worth, my primary job is editing and translation, not
writing, but I support 30 authors. Since each report is published
bilingually (with translations into English by me, and translations
into French by a contractor), this probably works out to about 45
authors to one poor, overworked editor. ;^( Yet somehow I manage...
