|Does anyone know how FrameMaker for PC's performs in this category?

I have just one word for Frame/Win: OINK!
I suppose anyone who knows about the origins of FrameMaker -- it started
on Sun workstations with the assumption there'd be at least 32 Mb of memory
to play with -- isn't surprised about this.
The other thing is that (as my editor is so fond of telling me) Microsoft
apparently holds up Frame/Win as an example of "how Windows programs should be,"
or did so in the past. In other words, strict adherence to Microsoft's
recommendations re: Windows programming. The problem is, this makes Frame 4
perform like a first-generation Windows 3 program because of the lack of
hurry-it-up programmatic shortcuts taken. It would be nice to see FrameMaker
5 for Win remedy this and also standardize the way Frame/Win uses text-selection
keyboard shortcuts. The latter aspect frustrates me so much I prefer Word 2 for
composition!
