TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I have been lurking on the TECHWR-L list for a few months. I will be
coming to the STC conference from Israel and have a feeling that Israel
belongs to Region 2 (though the Mid-Atlantic states seem very far away
from here. Maybe the term Mid-Atlantic refers to some point in the middle
of the Atlantic, halfway between Israel and Washington, DC. )
Anyway I look forward to meeting some of the people from this list which
I have found both interesting and useful. Any tips for a first-timer?
