Subject:Query: Nomanclature Standards From:Debbie Molinaro <MOLINARO_DEBBIE -at- NY -dot- MRC -dot- SONY -dot- COM> Date:Wed, 3 May 1995 06:54:00 -0400
Do any of you have experience using nomanclature standards for parts?
Our division keeps part numbers, descriptions, etc on an MRP system.
The description field is approximately 25-30 characters long.
Engineers make up the part name. Need I say more? <g>
I am looking for the name of a standard and information on how to aquire
it.
Can anyone help?
Thanks...
