May Meeting
The Alexander Technique and the
Prevention of Repetitive Stress Injuries
John Baron, a practitioner of the Alexander Technique, which uses
movement and exercise, will give an overview of the Alexander
Technique and will talk about how it relates to preventing repetitive
stress injuries in the workplace. Mr. Baron, a member of the North
American Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique and a
specialist in the treatment of orchestral musicians, believes that we
can avoid many repetitive stress injuries. Questions from the
audience are welcome.
