I have an HP ScanJet IIC with automatic document feeder (2 years old).
I use Omnipage Pro for text scanning. The only drawback I have found,
OP doesn't recognized enough of the mathematical symbols for my work.
(i.e., like computer science techical reports which are riddled with
mathematical formulas).
I have been very pleased with the scanner. It does a great job.
I don't use the Graphics part of the OP because for some reason it hangs my
system up (sometimes) when it's running and then I have to reboot.
For graphics and photographs I use the software that came with the scanner.
Again, I bought my system 2-3 years ago.
