Speaker Spotlight
*****************
Mary Wise, our STC Region 2 Director-Sponsor, will present tactics for
"Developing Your Professional Leadership Skills" on May 16th at
the Hightstown Public Library.
Mary has been a member of STC for about 13 years and has worked in the
Technical Communication field for over 16 years. She has presented numerous
papers and workshops at the STC Annual Conferences, served on several
Conference Advisory Committees, and led the Program Committee for the 40th
Annual Conference in Dallas.
Currently, Mary works as an instructional designer for Mannugistics Inc.,
developing training materials for user-specific implementations of their
manufacturing logistics software.
In a previous life, she graduated from Ringling Brothers Clown College and
worked as a circus clown and juggler -- which proved to be wonderful training
for juggling the multiple tasks required of a technical writer.
So if you would like to learn how to be a better juggler too, come to our
May meeting!
