Subject:List of Tables and Figures From:Harold Snyder <ENSNYDER -at- ECUVM1 -dot- BITNET> Date:Tue, 23 May 1995 10:25:43 EDT
Phil,
Although many poeple may feel that placing a List of Tables and Figures
(or what any may call it) has become passe' or "too technical looking,"
readers still expect to find this kind of information included as front
matter of any document. Thus, its placement is not a matter of appearance; rat
rather, it is a matter of meeting reader expectations.
If you need some references of studies or recommendations of experts, I
can get a short list of about a dozen or so tomorrow.
I for one would be interested in a summary.
Good luck.
Hal
