I've got a problem with spacing after end punctuation.
Recently we've gone to using a scalable serif font for our text. The
problem, especially w/ italic type, is that the program doesn't allow
enough white space for a "space". Most of us use two spaces after end
punctuation--and even that doesn't help. It's frustrating both from the
pov of the writer and the editor.
So, do any of you have any suggestions for how to convice the scalable
font to leave enough white space? The program we're using is WPWin or
WPDos (everything from 5.1 to 6.0whatever).
