P.S. Seriously, folks, having a no-fee publicly available version of the
OED on the Net would be nice indeed, although personally I've only
referred to the dead-tree edition once -- and it was someone else's copy.
ANY Net-accessible dictionary would be nice!

Ido, I do! Many years ago My wife purchased a 2-volume set that you need
a magnufying glass to read (honest!! -- it was included). It was on sale
for like 100 bucks or so (I think) about 14 years ago. Wanna see it?
