You're right, Dave, these examples of lines that appeared in church
bulletins are funny. Not only do they show the need for better
editing, they also make the church look pretty stupid, which leads me
to believe that they aren't really "actual" examples. Also, this is
old; I've seen this list a few times before, which also leads me to
believe that it isn't true. Beth
