Subject:Help with graphics files From:Joe Fockler <jfockler -at- IPHASE -dot- COM> Date:Wed, 14 Jun 1995 10:57:35 -0500
I need help with some graphics files. I have DXF and EPS files created
(and exported) with AutoCAD 12. When I attempt to import the DXF file
into CorelDRAW 3.0 (windows version), it locks up my system. When I try
to import the EPS file into FrameMaker 4 (UNIX on SunOS 4.1.3 and Frame 4
on PC) I get an error message that it is not a valid AI file.
I remember a posting about the header information in an EPS file, but
I've searched through my archives and cannot find it.
I need to edit this file and import it into Frame as an EPS file (I
cannot get CGM files to import). Does anyone have wisdom to share with
respect to Frame and graphics files?
I have other DXF files that I have converted to EPSI via the Frame3.1
filter but this particular file has been causing me much grief.
ADVthanksANCE for any suggestions, hints, comments, and insight.
