> Well, I must now insert additional text and graphics in the middle of
> a chapter. The original document is not all one "story". Therefore,
> when I try to place a graphic (or paragraph) in the middle of a page,
> the remaining text on that page and all subsequent pages DO NOT
> reposition themselves! Each story and graphic is fixed to the page and
> will simply write over the insertion! This is crazy!
Why don't you
1. Cut and paste to make your doc one big text block before inserting new
text
OR
2. Use the "Insert Pages" feature so that your old text won't be
disturbed
We use PageMaker all the time. It's a good tool. If you are unfamiliar
with using it, you might run through the tutorials or buy a book. My employer
sent us to a Bill Parsons Advanced PageMaker seminar. We received the book
_Graphic Designn with PageMaker for Windows 5.0_ by Bill Parsons.
