Misti,

I came across an introduction to ISO 9000 on the Web that you might want
to start with. I've only skimmed it, so I don't know how good it is.
I *do* know that it has some errors in it--e.g., refs to diagrams and
tables that aren't there--but what the heck: it's free!

The document is called

Demystifying ISO 9000: Information Mapping's Guide to the ISO 9000
Standards (2nd ed.)

and its URL is
