-> I have heard of these printer-spooler software packages of
-> some sort, but I don't know if they are *reliable*. Anybody
-> know of a FAST printing software thingamajig? I can't wait
-> around 45 minutes to print one flyer.
I tried SuperDrive, but was disappointed. It did come with some cool
truetype fonts though. I would add printer memory out the wazoo -- it
can then take larger chunks of data from your computer, thus less
waiting time.
My LJ4 had 10 megs of RAM and seldom slowed down even for complex pages.
My current "baby", a LaserMaster Unity 1800 XL-O (drooooolll) has 24
megs and kicks major booty!
There is no such thing as too much printer memory, IMO.
