Subject:Re: European Community: Directive on Machinery From:Nancy Hoft <itech -at- MV -dot- MV -dot- COM> Date:Fri, 4 Aug 1995 07:17:07 -0400
A few years ago, the Society for Technical Communication (STC) made a
copy of this directive available to its members. I believe this was a
cooperative effort of STC, INTECOM, and TEKOM. It is possible that the
STC office still has a copy of the Directive. I believe I paid $25USD for
it at the time. You can get a more recent copy from the European
Community Official Publications Office, 1, rue Mercier, L-2985
Luxembourg. The number of the directive is 89/392 EEC. Like Alexander,
my copy of the directive is dated 14 June 1989. It is possible that it
has been updated.
