Have you priced any computers lately? Cost is no longer a factor. Macintosh
products are competively priced, and many more features are included.
Furthermore, numerous independent studies have shown the ease of use in
using a Macintosh, especially for multimedia tasks.
Also, longer file names is a ridiculous reason to get a Macintosh. You can
get longer file names using OS/2 on an IBM compatible or even with the new
Windows 95.
There are numerous competitive advantages to the Macintosh computer. You
can call Apple's fax back service and get copies of such reports. I'm sure
such info is available on their web sites as well.
Personally, we have both a high-end IBM compatible and a high-end Power
Macintosh at home. I would never even consider ever using the PC compatible
for anything involving writing, technical communication, or desktop
publishing. Then again, I cannot consider using the PC compatible for
anything. Once you use Mac, you'll never go back.
