TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
It includes a technical writing resource list which needs expanding.
My aim is to make these pages the definitive directory of all
("webbed") technical authors/writers and technical writing agencies:
if you have a WWW presence, please let me know.
The initial premise of this page was to teach myself HTML and, as
such, it was interesting but (I hope) ultimately pointless: tag
markup has had its day. It surely can not be long before someone
produces a WYSIWYG web editor. The tools should not constrain the
craftsman [said with humility].
