Does anyone know of a WINDOWS utility that will let me access a diskette
formatted on a MAC?
I remember one called "Mac-in-DOS" which let you read 1.4 MB floppies.
It should be noted that if the disc is a Mac-formatted 800K or 400K floppy,
there's no software around that will let a DOS machine read it. The reason is
that the 400K and 800K formats depend upon a variable speed drive, and all PC
discs are constant speed. (It's one reason why the Mac format was 800K while the
equivalent PC format was 720K.) With the 1.4 M floppy, Apple went to constant
speed drives as well.
Have fun,
